A 5 day retreat ~ APRIL 24TH-29TH, 2025 ~ TUSCANY, ITALY
THE art of living
The Art of Living is a women's gathering in the Heart of Tuscany. An experience to retreat from your normal routine, immerse yourself in healing practices, and reinvigorate your life vision while being in the loving embrace of community.
The Art of Living is an invitation to slow down and artfully savor your life, unfurl the senses and taste the fruit of this precious moment unfolding. Be held by the vibrant rolling hills, flowering landscapes, and rustic countryside of Tuscany.
Refresh your life vision, clear your mind and body of old stories, and freshly re-meet this blossoming self.
Through this reunion, often a deeper voice or clearer knowing is unveiled. Inspiration beckons and calls us forth.
This retreat will offer spaciousness to tend to creativity, room to breath, dream and connect to your internal spring, while being in the midst of a glorious group of women.
Breathwork, Meditation, journaling, inquiry, Yoga Nidra, and other creative practices will support our 5-day experience of coming home and tapping into wells of nourishment, from within and without.

Our Italian Abode: Ebbio
Ebbio is a gorgeously restored 13th century farmhouse surrounded by 17 acres of rustic countryside, sitting on an extinct volcano that was sacred to the Etruscans, overlooking the medieval walled town of Monteriggioni.
Ebbio’s family includes Sibilla, Francesca (Nirdosh), Micol, Bardhyl, Nyshi, Elkabira, the beloved Woofers, as well as geese, chickens, donkeys, horses, dogs, cats and plenty of butterflies.
The country ways of old Italy are preserved at Ebbio, where they dedicate themselves to the organic cultivation of olive trees, fruit, vegetables and herbs, which they then use in preparing their home-made meals.

Farm to table
Ebbio offers an in-house chef that uses fresh, locally foraged ingredients, to create delicious family style meals. These meals are certified organic and vegetarian.
Their mantra is ‘food is medicine’, with meals always rich in nutrients, organic and vegetarian, their menu varies to complement what’s in season and in their fields.
A morning beverage & fresh fruit, brunch and dinner are included during each full day of the retreat.
The House
Ebbio has 10 uniquely furnished rooms cozied around a spacious communal area with a traditional fireplace.
The unique decor of their 10 bedrooms builds on traditional heritage, with earthly colors and windows onto the rolling Tuscan hills.
Much of Ebbio life is spent outdoors, often at the large communal tables under the shade of the pergolas. For alone time, there are plenty of chairs in the sun and hammocks in the shade, ideal for sunbathing, reading or star-gazing. A south-exposed patio is perfect for sunrise and sunset sessions.

Together we'll dive into morning ritual, afternoon breathwork ceremony, and grounding evening wind-down sessions.

Meditation guide + photographer
Olivia Ashton
Olivia is a ceremonial photographer and meditation guide, specializing in deep explorations of the self + other through imagery and consciousness.
She see's meditation as a mystical doorway into deeper intimacy with this one precious life we share. Intimacy: “in-to-me-see.” To fully see oneself is a healing and transformative experience. She supports people in seeing themselves with clarity and love.
Meditation has been the foundation of her spiritual practice for the past 10 years. Consistently sitting with herself has shown her that attention is healing — it is our love. Meditation uncovers the innate clarity of our Awareness and creates space for our internal wisdom to arise. Through practice, trust is born, insight arises, and we deepen into ourselves. We cultivate the ability to quiet our minds, and widen our capacity to FEEL and artfully dance with the full spectrum of our human experience. From anguish to ecstasy — it’s all included. Through stillness, we come home to ourselves + into deeper intimacy with all things.
Olivia's style of guidance is compassionate, loving, direct and clear - deeply informed by nature, the ancient teachings of Zen Buddhism, and Her personal devotion to Sacred Self Love.
